Celebrating the Children's Miracle Network

We’ve been doing the show for nearly a decade, but every year there always seems to be a moment or two when the room “starts to get a little dusty.”

It’s hard not to get emotional and have your eyes start to water when you’re talking about the Children’s Miracle Network, which has raised more than $5 billion during the past 30 years for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Once again in 2014, Cornerstone was honored to be a part of the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) annual Celebration in Orlando.

The highlight of the evening was when 68 children from every U.S. state and Canadian province – all beneficiaries of CMN giving – were invited on stage to receive medals presented by hosts Nick Cannon (NBC’s America’s Got Talent) and Miss America 2015 Kira Kazantsev.

One of the medalists later came on stage to sing a duet with Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum (Lady Antebellum were the featured entertainers at the Celebration). Both slayed it during a performance that attendees won’t soon forget.
